Jezersko is situated 906 metres above the sea level between two mountain ranges, the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the Karavanke. Jezersko is only 55 kilometres from the capital city of Ljubljana, and 27 kilometres from the international Ljubljana airport.
How to get here: coming from Ljubljana, leave the highway at Kranj-East (Kranj Vzhod), at the first roundabout follow the signs to Kranj and at the second roundabout turn in the direction of Jezersko. Drive past the village of Preddvor and continue for another 20 kilometres through the Kokra valley. It takes you about 60 minutes from Ljubljana.
