The destination Jezersko is offering excellent opportunities for activities in a pure, intact nature. Here you can find over 60 km of marked and equipped hiking trails with different difficulty levels. The special location of our glacial valleys is treating you with beautiful panoramic views on mountain wreath of the Kamnik Savinja Alps.

On the way, you discover the natural attractions such as Lake Planšar, the glacier below Skuta, Čedca waterfall and forests, as well as taste the healing mineral water Jezerska slatina. On pastures, you can observe herds of indigenous Jezersko-Solčava sheep and explore biotic diversity of Jezersko. Due to the different altitudinal zones and diverse geological history here grows close to 1,000 different plant species.

The four-day package includes moderately demanding half-day tours along marked trails in the heart of the mountains and glacial valleys. Moderate fitness, hiking clothes and shoes required.

The feasibility of the program is guaranteed from May 15th to October 30th. Beyond those dates, you should first consult the situation in Jezersko.

Day 1: Jezersko – Češka koča mountain hut – Lake Planšar

Tour duration: 5 hours
Altitude difference: 637 m

Circural hike starts in alpine valley Makekova kočna passing waterfall Čedca and leads you up to the legendary mountain hut Češka koča (1534 m). Descend into the valley of Ravenska Podkočna and follow thematic trail to the Lake Planšar.

Day 2: Lake Planšar – Goli vrh - mineral water spring Jezerska Slatina

Tour duration: 5-6 hours
Altitude difference: 882 m

After the starting point Lake Planšar you pass Davo Karničar mountain lodge and hike to the picturesque saddle Jenkova Planina. Ascend to Goli vrh (1787 m) rewards you with great views over majestic mountain walls. Hike ends in the valley with the tour of the ethnographic museum, the Šenk’s homestead and the spring of the healing mineral water.

Day 3: Jezersko - Virnikov Grintavec - Komatevra Valley

Tour duration: 5 hours
Altitude difference: 748 m

From the village center you direct towards west to Karničar homestead with Old church nearby. Trail further leads you to the top of Virnikov Grintavec, where you can find the oldest rocks in Slovenia. From the top, you can see the Karawanks, the Julian Alps and the mountains in Austria. At the descend you pass the layers of tuff and fossils.

Day 4: Program, based on your individual wishes and returning with transfer

On your last day in our vivid village, we recommend relaxing or trying the activities that our place is offering. You can enjoy a short cycle tour (you can rent electric or mountain bikes), or horse riding tour in the nature. If you wish you can also enjoy a sauna treatment, or a nice relaxing walk, where you can gather your thoughts after your active vacation. If you pre-order a return transfer, we can arrange it from Jezersko to the airport or railway station.
