The brook of Jezernica springs out in Ravenska Kočna glacial valley, in the vicinity of the tourist farm Ancel.

Approximately two kilometres downstream from its source Jezernica flows into the lake Planšarsko jezero. From there it continues its flow down the Jezersko valley and empties into river Kokra at the hamlet of Spodnje Jezersko.
