After long renovation in 2010, the church of St. Andrew became a place of great discovery – frescoes from the 15th century were found here.

Experts say these are the most beautifully preserved frescoes from that time in Slovenia. They are supposed to be the work of Friulian painters. In the south side of the presbytery stands a small figure of a man who donated the money for this great work. Nobody knows who that man was.
