Culture

The life and traditions of our grandmothers and grandfathers can be recaptured by experiencing everything they have left us, that we cherish for our and further generations. Cultural landscape in Jezersko tells us of hundreds of years of people living with nature, and architectural heritage reflects the work and efforts of our ancestors. In Jenk´s barrack one can remember travelling merchants, the legacy of the peasants´ everyday life can be seen at Roblek´s homested and in Jereb´s ethnological collection, while Zadnikar´s gallery displays paintings of an artist who in his works preserved testimonies of how people experienced Jezersko some tens of years ago.
