Šenk’s homestead (Šenkova domačija)
Šenk’s homestead is considered the only homestead in the area where original buildings and architectural style have been preserved; typical rural settlement can be seen here. Ethnologists are of the opinion that the homestead is the oldest in the valley, regarding the layout of the buildings but not otherwise since the names of other homesteads appeared already some centuries before. It was built after the big lake had disappeared and the engraved year of 1517 above the doorframe of the main building tells us of its age.
Access: Go past the old church of St. Andrew (Sv. Andrej) in Ravno, turn right to the asphalt road and continue through the ash tree avenue. There is a sign for the farm next to the church.
